Valence is a character in PARTIZAN. Their playbook is the Empath.
Backstory
Valence comes from outside of the system, beyond the Partizan gate, from a culture called The Nobel.
They came to the Divine Principality when something hostile came out of the gate on their side, to scout out what is going on. They're on Partizan to learn as much as they can, and meet as many people as possible.
They are able to communicate with AI and sense echoes of past technology. They were a religious scholar in their culture, and perceive their talents as a gift from a deity.
Their drive is to convince a Stel to become defenders of the Nobel.
Appearance
As one of the Nobel, Valence's natural form is of a teal mist. This mist is housed inside of a robotic body, over which is a synthetic skin which hides their true nature. A touchstone for their robotic arm was suggested by Austin to be Robotic Arm by Alexey Vasilyev.[1]
Valence wears an intricate, black wolf mask that covers their entire face and a hood that hides their head. They also wear a simple robe with high lapels that fits loose around their body; their outfit is inspired by Destiny concept art.
Mech
Valence's mech is called the Hippocampus. It's a small chicken walker mech with helicopter blades. It's small, like a flying car with legs.
Beliefs
- Broun is quite dependable and competent. I hope to see them as trustworthy.
- I'm not sure why Thisbe resists her potential, but I want to open her eyes.
- Thisbe is simple and straightforward.
