September, formerly Service II, is a planet in the Golden Branch star sector. It used to be an Apostolosian planet, long ago, but was abandoned. Much later it was taken over by the Diaspora and the Divine Service and named Service II. The workers there ousted Service, but a mixture of Diasporan and OriCon interests soon began building up a base on the planet.
September has a mixture of land and ocean, with polar ice caps to the north and south. Its landmasses have an autumnal color palette, with many sandstone quarries. The few major cities, including the September Institute, are also made out of sandstone, repurposed from the original Apostolosian buildings. Thus there is a mix of (neo)classical design and Diasporan architecture. The planet's climate normally feels like it's in autumn all the time.
