Sank Getliff is an entry level conman and runaway who worked at the carnivals and sideshows of Kingfish Pier in Bluff City in 1899, operating scam games like ball in the bottle, dart games, a gun game, and one where you try to push over a weirdly-shaped object (like a giant weeble wobble). He also supplements this income by running his own shell games and three-card monte games.
He is between sixteen and eighteen years old and is described as being pale and almost gaunt, clean-shaved skin and finger-combed brown hair. When seen in America's Playground, he is seen wearing a warm, collarless button-up shirt, new suspenders, and wool pants.
