“I’m going to show everybody in Bluff City who their new favourite wrestler is: it’s me!”

Chuck Buckly was previously a midcard wrestler for Old Dominion Wrestling before moving to Promenade Wrestling. He debuted at the same time as Erica Rizzo as the tag team partner of Lenny Reed. He and Lenny's partnership split, as Chuck felt that Lenny was holding him back and that Lenny was jealous of his skills as a wrestler.

Although Chuck is a highly skilled wrestler and genuinely wants to be liked, he lacks the charisma to gain wide popularity.

Before each match, Chuck stretches extensively.

Charlie Cupid Persona

FROM YOUR WILDEST DREAMS:

CHARLIE CUPID! HE’LL WIN YOUR HEART AND THEN HE’LL BREAK IT! EFFICIENTLY! OVER A SERIES OF WELL-PLANNED SPOTS!

Hailing from "your wildest dreams", Charlie Cupid is a heel wrestler that is convinced that he is everybody’s favourite wrestler (“of course you love me I’m Charlie Cupid”). His finishing move is called The Bloody Valentine (a shining wizard but instead of a knee it’s an axe kick).

His wrestling outfit is based on heart aesthetics (heart shaped sunglasses, etc).

Charlie has a loud and overblow entrance, with music that is a tone-shifted ‘Call Me’ by Blondie.

Moves (The Technician)

Finishing Move

When you’re booked to win a match, roll 2d6: On a 10+, you hit your Finisher clean. You gain +1 Audience. On a 7-9, they make you work for it. Choose: they counter and you have to slap a real submission hold on them, gain +2 Momentum; they no-sell your finish and you have to hit them with it again, gain +1 Heat with them. On a Botch, pick one: it’s sloppy, lose -1 Audience and win the match; or you go overboard and really crank in a hold, you injure your opponent, and end the match in a no contest.
