Echo Reverie is a petty criminal with no cybernetics or connection to the Mesh.
Background
Born without the nanites that followers of Harmony use to connect to the Mesh, Echo lives entirely outside the augmented reality which most inhabitants of the Twilight Mirage dwell in constantly.
There is family issues, they're a criminal and was sent down to colonize the planet as a punishment for past crimes. "They've spent their whole life being told something is wrong with them. They have spent their entire life wanting to prove everyone wrong."
They were a thief and would bring stuff back to the slums that they're from. Arrested by the Beloved Dust during the investigation of a larger crime, they were sent planetside in lieu of jail time.
