The Holiday Gambit is an Apostolisian vessel that crash landed on Quire 26623 years ago. Carrying the Gnosis Virus, it caused the "Glassed Age" on Quire, a period of great stability and growth.
The descendents of the crew of the Holiday Gambit - and in particular, it's captain, Sciron - went on to be a prominent part of Quire citizenry, and their number includes Iota Pretense.
While exploring the mists on Quire, Echo Reverie found the Holiday Gambit with the help of a grass snake, and took use of it as their own ship. They also took a cybernetic eyepatch from its hold.[1]
The ship was retaken by Iota one year after the Miracle.[2]
