The Shaw family are an old Bluff City family who have operated in Bluff City since colonial days (they are white).
Although they used to have more casinos in Bluff City, they have since moved most of their operation to Vegas. The Promenade is now the only casino they own in Bluff City, although they do still own hotels in the city.
They are also the owners of Promenade Wrestling, although this particular line of business does not draw in much money.
