The Ravening Beast is a vaguely canine entity of the Heart. It has been calling out into the depths of Lye Lychen's mind for some time now, and aims to chase and devour him.

In Episode 33, the Ravening Beast was killed by Duvall. This seems unlikely to be the last we will see of it.
