Graysand Paranormal are a paranormal investigation business which operates out of Graybar Shopping Centre on Graybar Street, Bluff City. It is located next to a ShopRite, a Pizza place and laundromat. Their actual shopfront used to be an H&R Block and still contains most of the layout of that office with a loose bullpen, and front counter with a selection of newspaper clippings, photos of staff, and a photo of the kids softball team they sponsor behind it.
It is owned/funded by Millennium Alexander Black, although prior to The Cost of Greed they had not met him.
They have been in business for a while when first seen during The Cost of Greed. Their business is described a "not booming but solid" which their specialty in ghosts although they have become well-known for the Jersey Devil case. Their first most common client type is people who don’t understand their electronic equipment, their second most is poltergeists, and third most are land-based creatures.
Although they are not a franchise, they do consider themselves to be part of a broader society of ghost hunters and go to conventions/get the newsletters. All staff members got their “ghost hunter diplomas" from a 4 hour seminar (PhDead), and these can be seen hanging up on the walls in the office.
Syd was hired primarily to film a ghost hunting show pilot for dailymotion (where their account name is GreysandParanormalOfficial). She also provides the primary transportation for the team.
