BluSky Dome is the name of the first dome of its kind to be erected on Counterweight, as well as a modification that would be subsequently made to existing domed cities on the planet. Domes made previously are protected by flickering gold-bronze shields through which the wrecked atmosphere of Counterweight is visible. The BluSky Dome creates the illusion of a beautiful blue sky, and controls interior climate to match.
The first BluSky Dome was made through the contributions of both OriCon and Autonomous Diasporan scientists. It is located closest to the Diaspora Dome.
After the Righteous Vanguard establishes itself on Counterweight, the BluSky dome over Centralia is symbolically removed, and possibly others as well ("A Special Kind of Warmth").
