Angie Flores is a reporter from the Atlantic City Press.
She is described as Latina, with frizzy brown hair. When seen in The Moving Pictures, she is wearing a long trenchcoat and baseball cap. When seen next in To Be Young Near the Shore, she is older, and is described as a middle aged woman, with salt and pepper hair and a big nose, wearing a 70s-style brown corduroy suit jacket with a red cherry blossom pin on the label, a yellow dress shirt, and glasses with the chain (she also has another pair of glasses in her pocket).
She went to high school with Deshaun Williams.
While investigating the strikes at Bluff City Studios, her determination to discover the truth led to her discovery of the existence of The Tunnel Project. Although she could not find anyone to believe her story, she did connect with Hector Hu via a messageboard and the two were collaborators for a time though her allegiances have since changed.
Hector's belief in her story unfortunately did not help her career, and she was shuffled through various departments, eventually landing as the lone reporter in the ‘Curiosities and Investigations’ section the Atlantic Press' basement level. She is described as someone who believed and then fell into resignation.
