Carly Nebraska is the black sheep of the Nebraska Family. She was given the nickname of “Good Job” Nebraska as people believed that she was constantly making mistakes and getting things wrong.
She is described as looking like the actress Mädchen Amick as Shelly Briggs in Twin Peaks, with small, dark brows and “lots” of brown hair, and is “constantly looking vaguely pouty”. When seen in Hard Luck, she is wearing a promotional NASA t-shirt for the moon landing with the year ‘1973’ on it, and small hoop earrings. She is 25 years old.
She was given the role of doing odd jobs around The Albatross casino under Nash’s direction, which did not improve the siblings’ relationship. Bitter about constantly being overlooked and underestimated, Carly stole $3,000 in casino chips as a “tip” for delivering the other casino chips and used it to buy a coupe (as her old car had a window that didn’t close properly). This led into her helping Herc Verendanza to con her brother, although she would later have a change of heart and buy her brother’s way out of the bet using her shares in the casino. After this she returned her coupe, paid her debts, and went to work for her father in Blough City.
