Barbelo is a strange white dog with the ability to make people and things invisible. He looks like an Irish Wolfhound.
Origin[edit | edit source]
Barbelo's name may come from the real-world dog Barbelo Patou de Gauja, nicknamed Barbi, a Great Pyrenees owned by a Latvian breeder[1].
Alternatively or additionally, his name may refer to Barbelo, an emanation of God in some forms of Gnosticism.
