The Isle of the Broken Key is a location on Palisade, a small island in the Wisk Sea that serves as the home base for the Violet Cove unit of the Cause.[1]
It is home to settlements housing Twill people and forces from the Twilight Mirage, the Dim Liturgy's primary monastery,[2] and a mansion where Violet Cove holds parties and gatherings.[3] Following the surge of the Perennial Wave in "A Mechanical Whine", the party mansion is left in ruins.[4]

During PALISADE, it serves as the home base for Violet Cove, including the Devotees (led on-planet by Saint Decario Dicario) and some additional support teams from the Twilight Mirage. Some Twill people, displaced by the Bilats from their home in Greenfield, have also been put up in a settlement on the Isle of the Broken Key.
