Cameron B. Castle, or "Cam", is a cab driver in the Atlantic City and Bluffington Beach area. He prizes "fairness, good coffee, and reliability" (in that order). He is a balding middle aged man with a big mustache and an "interesting moral compass".
History and Involvement[edit | edit source]
Though born in Atlantic City, Cam traveled to Bluff City for work via the Tunnel Project (and potentially some work for the Concern), before eventually moving back to Atlantic City to retire from his previous career and open his own cab company, Castle's Cars and Coffee. His company currently has a connection to Atlantic City Press and is the cab company they call when in need of a taxi.
Castle also participates in the racing scene, where he is partially sponsored by Chip Directly "Coats" Jr. He participated in the TriCity Classic on behalf of Sonny Veranda the Third and also at the behest of Ronny Highsmith Jr, the latter of which asked him to look out for the ABB Racing Crew while on the track. He placed third in this race.
To relax, he plays Sega Bass Fishing and the Big the Cat levels of Sonic of the Sega Dreamcast.
Vehicle[edit | edit source]
In his taxi cab, Cam has a large stylized text of "Cam" in the Irish flag colors hanging from his rear view mirror. He has a button in his cab that he can press in order to see footage from the nanny cam outside his house. His cab also has a coffee machine, which gave his company its name. When seen in Engines on the Track, Castle is described as driving a black cab, which can switch between hover and ground-based movement in a similar way to the DeLorean in the Back to the Future series. When racing, this vehicle is referred to as the Castle’s Cars and Coffee Cab.
Although use of weapons is illegal in the hovercar circuit, Cameron's car is equipped with two harpoons. These harpoons are meant to fire at the same time and land on opposite sides of a vehicle and they have electromagnets in them. When activated, they magnetically repel, ripping the other vehicle apart.
