Samantha provides a thriving social scene during post-apocalyptic Bluffington Beach. She runs a bar named Snoopy's, and barters for items with those who come in from outside the city. Her gender is high femme.

She does not mind being called Samantha or Sam.

Appearance

She is described as having a friendly face and callused hands. When seen in Dream Askew, she wears a stained apron and stilettos. When leaving the bar to assist Already with their journey to Jeff Brown Dentistry, she leaves the apron at the bar, tying her hair up with a handkerchief and wearing large sunglasses (despite the expected travel distance, she keeps the stilettos).

After her run-in with the demon Agarat, she now has a sigil of this demon on her right hand.

Relationships

She was originally described as having children (biological or adoptive), but this was set aside in "Give Way to Open Sky".

The Augur, Providence

Prior to the events in Dream Askew, she was dating The Augur, Providence, but her attention was too divided between The Augur and taking care of the community, and their relationship fell apart.

During their encounter with the demon Agarat, Samantha and The Augur were able to briefly share one another's thoughts and experiences that give them both a different perspective on both each other and their previous relationship.

Duke

She often gives Already food for their dog Duke, and Duke in return loves Samantha and will chase unruly patrons out of her bar for her.

Melvin Calvin

She has a contentious relationship with Melvin, whose Magic The Gathering hall is situated next to her bar. Melvin feels that the bar is too unruly and loud and that the noise disturbs his players.

Abilities

The market failed. The shops and restaurants and factories closed their doors. And into that void stepped the Hawker, hustling and working odd jobs and pulling a livelihood out of the rubble of apocalypse. The Hawker is an industrious individual. Their power is material, social, and contingent.

Lure

Whenever someone offers you a new gig, or gets hooked on your supply, they gain a token.
