Olivia “Ollie” McGowen is a woman in her 40s with dark hair. At age fifteen, ten years prior to the events of To Be Young Near the Shore, she and her friend El went into the Tunnel and she was lost in it, stuck between the three cities and appearing to age at an accelerated rate.
She was described as being reserved and bookish, but someone who loved being surrounded by more boisterous friends (like El).
