Deanthe is a Hyphan researcher investigating ancient Hyphan culture alongside their partner Zeke Minuet, focusing on the Chorus Bond. They aided in the rescue of the group known as the Tress (Dirwin, Elaina and Stas). They are apparently a bit haughty, but were deflated by the irreverence of the mech crew defending Harborview.

They become the Loess of the group of Hyphan refugees on the Brightsky, guiding others in the adoption of the Chorus Bond (they claim to be the first in thousands of years, unaware of the Loess of the Sable Court).
