Trip Uncertainty is a washed-out pro racer from the low-mid tier of pro racing (if you’re a superfan of racing then you’d know him but otherwise you don’t), and currently races with the ABB Crew. He is emotional and impulsive, with a car to match.
He and Absolute Pluperfect raced against one another early in their careers, but Absolute's career went up and Trip's went down. Now middle-aged, Trip has been racing for 20 years (he started racing in his late teens or early 20s).
When attempting to infiltrate the Bluffington Beach Coin and Slot in Engines on the Track Pt. 2, Trip is dressed in an "LA fancy" style in a nice pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and blazer. Due to the contract demands of his various contracts over the years, each item of clothing is covered in sponsor logos (for example, a 1ft x 1ft patch of a oil change place on it “Juffy Libe” on the back of his blazer).
For some reason, he believes that "supreme", when used in any food description, means that there will be sour cream on or in it.
