Kira Voight is a woman from the failed Diasporan colony world of Sage. Around 70 years old, she remembers the time before the collapse. When Vicuna and Grace arrive to Sage in order to bring the planet under the control of the Hands of Grace, she tries to assassinate Vicuna and fails.
She is then captured by Vicuna and Grace. As she is secretly an agent of the Rapid Evening, a Heresy Squad led by Tetsuya Mori rescues her from a largely unsuccessful interrogation by Vicuna. In the process, Grace's arm is cut off, a significant feat.
