Profit's Cadence is a leader inside of the Church of the Self. He has been planning the Compel Project alongside Ocean's Roar. His potential death is one of two that are feared by the Rapid Evening to be linked to Dark Day.
He looks like a taller CeeLo Green. In his first appearance he's wearing a very fine black suit with a neon blue dress shirt and a black collar. In his second appearance he's wearing black, purple, and yellow robes.

Compel was apparently granted to Profit's Cadence by the Rapid Evening. In the climax of Dark Day, Morning's Observation kills Profit's Cadence, which somehow triggers a message from Our Profit. She arrives and erects a sort of new sun in the Quire system which blocks the vision of Crystal Palace.
