City Hall is a large, traditional-looking building with a nice big green front lawn with pedestals for ornaments and statues that never went up (with plaques saying ‘this was donated by so and so’ but the money was spent on galas instead).
Inside, the building has marble floors, dome ceiling, columns.
During the era of Bluff City shown in There Is No Greater Love, to make a meeting with someone you have to fill out a piece of paper in the reception room where you must specify various things, including:
- Are you here to see [official’s name]?
- Write down your name.
- Who you are.
- Which person you want to talk to.
- How long you want to speak to them for.
