The Paint Shop is a manufactory and front for the Bilateral Intelligence Service on Palisade. It is located atop the central peak of the mountain Steeple Catterick,[1] northeast of the Temple of the Threshold and north of Greenfield.[2]
It was from the Paint Shop that Riah Connadine announced "Adagio in G", the Bilateral Intercession's grand plan for Palisade.[1]
Appearance
The Paint Shop is a labyrinthine castle. Its vibe is a cross between Castle Gormenghast, Anor Londo, and the German castles located in the Alps.[1] To outsiders, it appears to be a bohemian artist's colony or workshop.[2]
Trivia
- John le Carré’s Circus was a big inspiration for the Paint Shop.[3]
