Owlbears are formidable predators which can be found in the area around the Mark of the Erasure.

Owlbears are 12 to 13 feet tall, powerfully built, and covered in brown and white feathers. Their feet are furry black talons, and their long arms are somewhat wing-like, enabling them to hover briefly by flapping them. An owlbear's face is round, with big eyes and a beak that extends two fist-lengths from its face. They bleed black blood.
