The Frontier Syndicate is a wide reaching conglomerate of the Principality which has subsidiaries in spheres ranging from entertainment to industry. Although the Syndicate is led by Columnar magnate Exanceaster March, it is part of the Bilateral Intercession rather than the Pact of Free States: the Syndicate betrayed the Pact "in order to be part of their colonization efforts on Palisade."[1]

March Anecdatist Foundation[edit | edit source]

The March Anecdatist Foundation, aka the March Institute, is a subsidiary of the Frontier Syndicate founded by Exanceaster March himself. It is the main arm of the Frontier Syndicate on Palisade.

Palisade is the Syndicate's prospective "testing ground"[2] to deploy new weaponry on behalf of the Bilateral Intercession.[3] They hire people for low pay to participate in unprotected mech wrestling and other blood sports in Composure's Coliseum; their subsidiary the Lone Marble Group uses the data from these fights in order to create automated weapons and AI.[3] They are also collaborating with the Divine, Arbitrage, which is shilling its proprietary currency, glint, and offering goods and services to undercut Palisade's economy.

As a Division of the Authority, the Lone Marble Group, Composure's Coliseum and the Divine, Arbitrage are the March Institute's pillars.[4]

The March Institute is also working closely with the mercenary group Lock and Cross Security Services, as Exanceaster March invited them to the planet.[5]
