Formerly the fifth moon of Quire, Volition is now at the center of the Quire System. It has an unstable, shifting surface that changes appearances and composition constantly. Volition is thought to be sentient, although this is uncertain because it was designed to be unlike any person.
History
Volition was built by the Iconoclasts, followers of Independence who were changed dramatically by Quire at the end of the war against Independence. The Iconoclasts created Volition as a factory to create post-divines, divines that do not need people in order to exist. These post-divines are now called Axioms, and can be transformed into traditional divines.
