The September Institute is a secretive university for the development of strati, headed by Provost-Regent Twelfth. It is located in Mode City on the planet September.

It was founded by Maryland September and Ibex after Service left September. The institute would advance various anti-Divine projects, like the creation of Voice and artificial Strati, using a combination of Apostolosian and Diasporan tech. However, it is indebted to a number of OriCon commercial interests.

The institute actually teaches from junior high to postgraduate levels. Classes include Applied Holograms and OriCon Cultural History.

Strati program

The September Institute strati were designed to fight modern Divines like Grace or Service. Artificial strati have cyberware in their brains which allows them these powers. Righteousness software seems to be a component added to the cyberware given to the Institute's artificial strati.

Within the Institute itself and the surrounds of Mode City, Voice allows both strati and non-strati alike to manipulate the mesh.

When Maryland left the Institute, they began developing a cloning program using her DNA. Although there are non-clones attending the Institute even after this point, many are clones with false memories who are ultimately controlled by the Institute.

Houses

Students are divided into houses with separate dorms and uniforms.

House Rosemoon

House Rosemoon is for the best strati, and has the highest expectations for its students. Its colors are salmon pink and grey.

House Whitestar

House Whitestar is for diplomats, politicians and people from outside of OriCon culture (or from outside the Golden Branch area). Its color is white (with gold accents).

House Goldslate

House Goldslate is for non-Strati locals to September.

EarthHome Presents: House Blueworld

House Blueworld is for artists, creators and performers, many of whom go on to produce OriCon propaganda. Its colors are seafoam and dark blue.
