Saffron Septet is a doctor from the Twilight Mirage who acts as the Blue Channel's ship medic.[1]

Appearance

Saffron is a digital consciousness who can move between different synthetic bodies. These include a larger-than-average Torch Unit, a motorcycle, and a specialized surgeon's body with five arms and delicate, dexterous hands.[1]

History and Involvement

Gucci Garantine assigns Saffron to the Blue Channel while the ship is docked at the Crown of Glass; Brnine, as the ship's captain, is told that they cannot refuse her as a member of their crew. While Brnine shows Saffron around the ship, Asepsis reacts to her, classifying her Torch Unit body as an enemy combatant from the New Earth Hegemony and trying to force her consciousness out of it. Brnine is able to nonverbally talk Asepsis down, but as a result, Saffron feels unwelcome aboard the ship.[1]
