He often carries a cigar, but does not smoke. It is implied that he is waiting until the pennant win to smoke his cigar.

He is described as a silver fox, with stark white hair and deep-set eyes. When seen in Aliens in the Outfield, he is wearing a monogrammed bathrobe and pajamas.
Bluff City viewers of Aliens in the Outfield would see the Patio family as a reference to the Veranda family.
