Open Gates is a yearly festival in the city of Sapodilla, celebrating the overthrow of the Marquis who ruled over Sapodilla at the time of the Panic.
It is particularly popular in the Sunflower district, as this move towards a more open and welcoming city particularly benefited the middle class.
