Obelus, or the Bright One, is a fallen star.

Appearance

Obelus is a glowing winged figure. Their light, bright but not blinding, does not seem to illuminate anything around them. Their face seems carved but unfinished, "like the faces of Mount Rushmore, in that the task of making this thing's face was so big that you could only ever get pretty close".

When met in Rosemerrow by Hadrian and Ephrim during the investigation surrounding Gilbert Lutz's disappearance, they wore robes of a bright yellow that are hard to distinguish from their flesh and held a scroll which seemed to be of infinite length, with no visible beginning or end.
