Template:LocationThe Albatross Casino and Hotel is the first casino in Bluff City. It was initially funded by the Nebraska Family, although it is unknown who holds majority ownership in current-day Bluff City. The staff uniforms for the casino include a red vest.
The casino has a fancy-nautical theme, with chrome escalators, and payphones in the lobby. There is also a payphone behind loading bay (removed shortly after the casino’s opening as the loading dock has its own phone).
Security in the casino is maintained by a system of ID cards with magnetic strips for staff. These cards are scanned by a device that “makes a weird noise like it’s printing something when you swipe but nothing is printed out that you can see” and shows your signature on a small black and green LED screen.
Sections of The Albatross Casino and Hotel
Nebraska Bar
A bar within the casino. Inside, there is a plaque with “with thanks to the Nebraska Family” on it. Nash Nebraska is shown to be working there as a bartender and waiter.
The Luxury Penthouse
Used by high rollers and for exclusive events. Outside the Penthouse, there is a very big greeter desk, which is white with gold accents, behind which is a mural of birds and the ocean. Judy Waters briefly worked here as a hostess/manager.
The Crow’s Nest
An elegant suite on the same floor as the Penthouse, with a piano, chandelier, big bathtub and shower, a fridge filled with eggs (“everybody loves a casino egg”) and a bar. It functions less as a hotel room and more like a special club for high rollers.
