The 301st Appraisal Unit is a small Columnar reconnaissance unit on Partizan. Before the Columnar commits the resources necessary to take something for their own, this unit comprised of soldiers, engineers, and academics needs to find it. They investigate Lake Timea during "Ambush in the Sand" and "Under the Boughs of the Court".
Kenzington Be was demoted here from the 21st Voluntary Composite after refusing to work with Asepsis.
