The Compel Project is a New Earth Hegemony project to build a ranged weapon that would work in the Mirage. The first successful attempt at building a gun, it was completed by Ocean's Roar. The end result is a gun (consisting of two parts and held in the middle, like the Halo Plasma Rifle or Peter Quill's Element Gun) which, when used in the Mirage, is able to overwrite small areas of space at a range. The design of the gun employs aspects of the Axiom Compel.
