Black Hook, or Great Black Hook, is a Shape train that runs along the north-west to south-east line of the Shape.[1] It is a bulky black locomotive engine.

Pickman invoked its name to curse William Blick, as well as carving the Shape on his hand.[2]

In Episode 31, Black Hook was spotted at a distance crashing happily into the walls of Sapodilla. As Dyre Ode's sternum had been removed, Sapodilla was no longer shielded from the influence and impact of trains.
