The Western Wood is a small but supernaturally dense forest located on the southwest end of the island Marielda is on. It is associated in some way with Samol.
Properties[edit | edit source]
The woods are unusual in many ways, most notably for the stretched weaver bodies which humans would find inside trees they were logging, whose appearance may or may not be an effect of the disappearances and deaths of humans who venture into the woods. The forest is a spiritually important location to many of the elves living in Quince Parish and elsewhere in the area.
Buildings made of wood from the forest cannot be reconfigured.
Size[edit | edit source]
The size of the Western Wood has fluctuated over time, based on the intensity of logging efforts and attempts by the Gardeners to expand the forest.
