Professor Hectares is a professor who reputedly teaches dissection at Memoriam College. They may or may not actually exist.

According to legend, the Hectares' classes never appear on any student timetables. Rather, students will be randomly woken in the middle of the night and led to one of his lectures.
The Valentine Affair[edit | edit source]
During The Six's attempt to steal Mortal Liminality from Memoriam College, Edmund Hitchcock posed as the notorious Professor Hectares, whose legend he had learned about from Carolyn Fair-Play.
Although this ruse seems not to have fooled Brother Silas (unless the priest simply had no qualms about assaulting an instructor at the school) it managed to dupe Gentle The-Night-You-Were-Born, a faculty member envigilating the entrance exams.
