Plot[edit | edit source]

Dusk[edit | edit source]

The family moved into the house 4 months ago and since then a Demon has been causing small, annoying things to happen. The Mother has unknowingly brought a Haunted Doll home, and a Creature in the Walls has woken up. Today is Taco Saturday and the family are sitting down to dinner. The Haunted Doll is on the floor under the dining table and scares the Mother by grabbing her ankle. The Mother tells herself "it must have been the cat". The Demon flickers the lights and startles the Dad as he gets up to clear the dishes. He drops some of the dishes and when he looks up at the light he sees a demonic face in the after image and the words "Get out". A clump of taco filling lands on floor, and the Son sees the Creature in the Walls reach out of the floor and swipe the food up. The Son freaks out and leaves, going to his friend Jonah's house. The daughter is put to bed and goes to hide in the crawl spaces.

Nightfall[edit | edit source]

The Father and Mother are in the study, trying to rationalise what just happened. The Creature in the Walls finds the Daughter in the crawl space and she fires a nerf gun pellet at its head and escapes. The Demon possesses the family cat and gets it to knock over an old diary of a priest who wrote about past demonic activity in the house. The Mother is terrified when she opens the book, but is in denial and tells the Father it was just an old photo album. The Father is alone in the study and can't find his shoes. He sees that the toes are poking out from underneath a curtain and when he pulls the curtain back the Haunted Doll's detached legs are in his shoes. The Father is so scared he leaves to go join the Son at Jonah's house.

Midnight[edit | edit source]

The Mother hides in the coat closet. The Daughter sets up a Rube Goldberg style trap. The Creature in the Walls throws the nerf gun pellet that the Daughter fired at them at the Mother from the ceiling. The Mother runs out of the coat closet and goes to find the Daughter. As she goes down the hallway the Mother hears footsteps and sees glowing footprints on the floor behind her caused by the Demon. The Haunted Doll is caught in the Daughter's trap, and the Daughter throws the Haunted Doll in the electric fireplace (not realising it's fake and not a real fire). The Haunted Doll crawls out towards the Daughter, leaving mysterious scorch marks behind.

Devil's Hour[edit | edit source]

The Mother goes to find the old diary in the study. The Demon chants "I'm going to eat your soul" and scares the Mother. The daughter ends up in the study. The Daughter runs away into the crawl spaces and goes to the study to find her Mother. The Haunted Doll enters the study and scares the Daughter by running on its hands towards where its legs are still in the Father's shoes. The Creature in the Walls crawls across the ceiling then back into the wall and scares both the Mother and the Daughter.

Dawn[edit | edit source]

Both Mother and Daughter go to the garage and grab some of the Father's tools to defend themselves. The headlights of one of the cars suddenly turn on and the Mother can see the Haunted Doll behind the wheel of the car turning the key in the ignition. The Mother freaks out and bolts out of the garage. The Demon turns the sink on and gross, sticky liquid comes out and overflows until the ooze starts making the shape of a body and scares the Daughter out of the house. The family moves away and the only thing left in the house is the cat, which the ghouls are chill with and look after.
