Doyle MacKaye is a worker at “The” Scuba Shop and a boxer in Bluff City's underground boxing scene.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
He is 6 feet, 6 inches tall. At the time of his first appearance, he is 31 or 32 years old and built like "a younger Vincent D'onofrio".
History and Involvement[edit | edit source]
Doyle became involved in boxing as a child, though it remains a side gig and not a main source of income. Doyle initially wanted to work at a garage as a mechanic but, after work as a mechanic proved too difficult to find, he took a job at “The” Scuba Shop with Finnegan Hands.
Despite not being able to swim, he enjoys this work and especially enjoys working with Finnegan, whom he considers his mentor. He also continues boxing during this time; his entrance music is ‘Only The Good Die Young’ by Billy Joel. His trainer is Tawny Buck.
His connection to Finnegan leads to him being pulled into Sonny Veranda's orbit. He agrees to fight Achilles Apollo as part of Sonny’s plan to trick both the Whitaker and Veranda families out of their money. Despite this, Doyle is not charged for his role in the crime after the plan falls apart.
In the wake of Sonny's plan and Finnegan’s subsequent disappearance, Doyle becomes the owner of “The” Scuba Shop.

Doyle goes on to have two kids, Lily and Finn, and three dogs, Daisy-Bird, Grover, and another unnamed dog.
