The Chancellor of Rosemerrow is the head of Rosemerrow's central government. The most recent chancellor was Gilbert Lutz.
Election[edit | edit source]
Chancellor is an elected position; additionally, either by tradition or law, a chancellor must have the names (and, by extension, approval) of 15 families from the city.
High House[edit | edit source]
The Chancellor's High House is located in the center of Roseheart, and is the tallest of the district's famous High Houses. It is the home of the chancellor, who lives with their immediate family as well as representatives from each of the families whose names they have been given. These representatives are there both to vouch for the Chancellor and to ensure their interests are kept in mind.
Low House[edit | edit source]
The Low House is the offices that the chancellor's administration operates from, located underground beneath the High House.
