Boole Batanca is the chancellor of The Isles of Logos, one of two chief executives of the small sovereign nation. The Society of Banners and Bright Returns had a mission objective to extract Batanca if they thought that the Principality was going to win a fight in Auspice.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Batanca is a member of cephalopod type squid-like species, the same as Gigas Acano from Twilight Mirage. They have white/blue skin with black/brown markings. Tentacle hands, tentacle mouth, and eyes that adjust in size depending on environment and light.
Unlike Gigas, they one also have some sort of shell like structure running up their back and parts of their head, like hair.

Boole Batanca's name calls back to a conversation from the Spring in Hieron finale Clapcast, where, after slightly mishearing Keith mentioning the lawn games boules and pétanque, Austin jokes that the protagonist of season six will be named Boules Bétanque.[1]
