Apothesa is the field commander of GLORY’s main Hallow unit on Partizan until the election of Laurel, who takes their position.

Appearance & Personality[edit | edit source]

"They have big team-parent energy. Long wavy hair, perfectly kept pilot uniform, stern features, sterner attitude."[1] They are in their mid-to-late thirties, making them the oldest member of the current GLORY squad.[2]

History and Involvement[edit | edit source]

Apothesa is a member of GLORY, said to be "a clone of the ancient (perhaps even mythical) eidolon of construction, military action, and history."[1] They are usually the lead in any field missions being run by GLORY. They first appear alongside their unit in High Altar, attacking the premiere of a Millennium Break propaganda film. They are notably not the lead in this mission, as that position has been taken over by Laurel, the newly appointed Elect of Motion, and Apothesa’s junior. Apothesa and Laurel work together for the mission, though are ultimately taken out by Phrygian as well as Broun’s deployment of Asepsis and forced to flee.[3]

Apothesa is seen again during Operation Shackled Sun on the Portcullis Gate where Logos Kantel is being held. Ver'million Blue gives up the opportunity to fight them in favor of the mission, though Apothesa is seemingly later killed anyway when she and Sovereign Immunity secure the base.[4]

Mech[edit | edit source]

Apothesa pilots the Aporia. It is a highly modified variant of the Kosmos developed by Columnar’s Zenith Fund.

Retrofitted for high level defensive tactics. Able to deploy both physical walls and particle fields to block off areas of the battlefield. Additionally, wields a glaive and shotgun.[5]
